Ready Page Elements

By using the Elements and Parts feature, you can insert ready-to-use page elements that have been pre-defined by the company that developed your web site. Page Elements can be anything from info boxes, special buttons, side columns, contact forms etc.

You can access Elements and Parts in two ways:

Alternative 1. In Consolo’s menu, choose the option Element and Parts. The option doesn’t exist if there are no pre-defined page elements for the current web site.

Alternative 2. In edit mode, click on the symbol in the toolbar.

When adding a page element to a web page, the “drag-and-drop” technique is used.

For this to work, the edit mode must be active. Edit mode is activated when you click Edit in Consolo’s web browser’s toolbar. 

Now use the mouse and grab a page element (click on the element once without releasing the mouse button). Drag the element onto the page and release the mouse button when the mouse pointer is in the place you want the element to be.
