Edit Images

To edit images, you use the programs and applications that you have installed on your own computer. This means you are able to work with the applications you are used to.

TIP! Do you want to create a new image by editing an existing image? Start by using the feature Duplicate in the toolbar, and then edit the copy!

Image Right Clicking an ImageEditing Images in Photoshop

Open the Image Archive and right-click on the image you want to edit. If you have Photoshop installed on your computer, the option Open in Adobe Photoshop will show up in the list.
Select this option.

Make your changes to the image in Photoshop. When you save the image, it will be uploaded to the server/web site automatically. Natually, this will not work if you shut Consolo down. In this case you have to save the image somewhere on your computer, and then upload it as you normally would.

Editing Images in Other Programs

You can also edit images in other programs you have installed on your computer. In Windows, start by associating the file type in question, for example jpg or gif, to the program you want to use. If you don’t know how this is done, contact someone with necessary technical skills at your office.

After you have done this, the file type (e.g., jpg or gif) will always be opened in this program when you double-click it in the Image Archive.

Just like with Photoshop, you simply save the image and it will be uploaded to the server automatically.
