HTML Editor: Object Properties
Using the Properties feature, you can edit the properties of an object. Note that you can also view the properties of an object by double-clicking it.
Exactly which properties can be set and edited depends on the object in question.
Image
Most of the properties in the Image Properties window are set automatically or are controlled by the style sheets of the web site.
However, there are two properties you might want to set:
Alternate Text: Type in a description of the image. This is commonly used by web browsers and browsing aids for the visually impaired.
Align: Choose an alignment for the image (e.g. right or left). This is used when you want the text to flow around the image.
Do you want to use another image? In this case you don’t have to open this window. Instead do this:
- Open the Images folder in the Media Archive.
- In the Editor: Select the image you want to replace.
- In the Image Archive: Click on another image.
